so why Don Conkels puts the acronym cf. in identifying
The acronym cf, is to that species were are doubt in identification
If they are descendants of fenestratus, there should be no doubt in identifying

P.s
sory for my bad english

He puts the cf. because the piebald fenestratus are found only in Lago Catemaco, so they could potentially be a separate species (though I personally don't think so).

At least you still got fenestratus, I got zonatus when I bought Conkel fenestratus.

But that´s strange i have 4 and only one change. If conkels has doubt about the species what are the remainig 3 that have the normal coloration? If they are all of the same ofspring they should be all Paratheraps fenestratus. With now doubt in the species only in the variation (caremaco or read head)

Not 100% of the Catemaco change. But only Lago Catemeco has fenestratus that CAN change. Does that make sense?
