Not how baby tem looked. I'll try and find some pics tonight. Mine had a solid black line all the way across the body. You didn't see the 3 occel marking till it was bigger. Different body shape as well.

In the pictures of the 2 types of temensis both have bars one is faded and one is dark ...

I sold one recently to polino on here it was 12" ! My other one I had was half that and passed when I did a major mistake on my tank and lost my other 7cichla along with the tem. I'll never make that mistake twice!!!
