i would keep that fish and try and breed it to get the blue eye gene. maybe the blue eye thing is rare.

It's common in this strain because one of it's parents was a synspilum. Look at a syn's eyes.

A great pick up for $12 ...I got him pimping 2 female red x dovii's with no success after multiple egg batches have yet to be fertilize...fungus city....sterile???? too young ???

maybe the male isnt fertile or maybe they just need to try a few more times.
