I saw a polypterus labled as a palmas nothing specific like palams palmas, polli, b or anything just palmas. This Lfs has a very and nice clean store, but they are more deticated to their saltwater section and lack a variety of freshwater oddballs so I was skeptical at first that it was just a regular old senegal, but I looked and he has black blotches so I snatched him up. We never get anything cool around here. I hope its a delhezi:naughty: but anything no mater what you guys Id it as is cool in my book we rarely get anything out of the ordinary.
Very sorry for the lack of high quality pics I made them big to see the pattern better this fish is so scrony and tiny it needs some fattening up!beefheat here we come!:D

These pics are aweful! I will try again.

There should be a tulip icon on your camera. Hit that once to go into macro mode- it should allow you to focus better on close objects

Thanks Druu I will try it.

I just can't get a good pic. Well the good news is that he ate a piece of worm I put in for my spiny eel. Basically it has 2 black blotches near the tail and are on the upper part of the body and is darker brown a regular senegal if that helps at all.

it's a patternless del.
I hope your right! It is just so hard for me to focus in on a 2 1/2 inch skinny little poly.

what you see is what you'll get with dels. it may gain a few black spots as it grows bigger but not bars unfortunately.
