what does it mean "it hasn't peeled"
never heard this before?

It means that the darker juvenile colors have not started to change into the "usually" brighter adult colors. Many Amphs are greyish when young but change as they get older. Every Midas that I've had has done this. BTW on a different note the second picture is the one that I finally got some info on.
