PLease help me ID this guy. What type of arowana is this? Is this a good grade or just a regular one? and do you think its body is deformed?? the tail kinda goes down somehow. The fish owner states its as premium AAA golden xb with CITES cert. Is it true? In my opinion, I don't think it is a pretty fish but maybe I'm wrong. thank you.

If it wasnt gold, then it would even be an xback.

From the pictures, the tail does look a bit deformed. Whether or not its a birth defect or from a cramped tank, I have no idea. Good grade normal grade, all that crap is a load of marketing gimmicks meant to rake in money. if you like the damn thing, then get it. If you dont like how it looks, then don't. Its that simple. Buying a fish depending on its money value is just completely retarded.

Feels like I'm picking on you today, Gshock.
There are actually technical aro grades used by breeders and sellers. They are pretty darn specific, too. Degrees of color, how high on the body the gold goes, etc. But I do agree that if you like it, it's a good fish for you. :)

You're right, but that usually only applies directly to farms. Usually, once its out of their hands, I find that everything, whether low or high quality becomes some fancy name like Supreme AAA Super Mega Overlord X-back with all the damn colours of the rainbow base.

I agree. You should see my UltraMegaDestroyer Guppy.

so finally IS IT A PREMIUM AAA GOLDEN XB ???
It is not about I like it or not, its because I don't want to pay for a GOLDEN XB price to get a different cheaper one.

How much is he asking for it? Always have to weight the marginal cost/utility.
