I have had plenty of nice females just from buying small fries 1-2" and raising them up.

Ahh that's what I left out, the only way to really have access to top quality females is to buy out the fries. But if you really want the best of the best, its best to buy the entire lot of the batch if possible. All the die hard FH I know of that really want to save money and invest it into a great quality batch. They will spend a few hundred onto an entire batch of fry, and hopefully one comes out to be a MP. The ones that are decent in quality are usually sold back out to gain their money back. Although, there are many times that the sale doesn't go out quick enough. Therefore they are left with many fish.
Either way, from what I know, top quality females are still tougher to gain than top quality males.

This looks exactly likemy male Red dragon growout. So I wold say ts male Red dragon or zz,same

Yea but the bottom fin is not pointy like yours, it's more oval.

I am 99% sure this is a red dragon. I have 4 and it looks just loks 2 of my females. Also, the only way to accurately sex fh's is by looking at the shape of the vent, and even that can be very difficult with smaller fish. Look at the vent, if it looks like Oo) its a female and if it looks like 00> its a male.
