Hi again

I found the picture below on the net ... the fish is supposed to be a wild caught Ch. Marulius - and it looks EXACTLY like the little fellas in my tank! :irked:

I got them direct from the Danish importer, which means I didn´t get the chance to look at the fish before I bought them. They were sold as "4-spot Ch." so I automatically thought they were Pleuros... which I now know they are NOT :irked:

Well it´s my own fault that Im now the proud owner of 3 juvenile Marulius... which in time will grow way too large for the 140 gallons I´m prepared to offer them.... actually they seem to be enjoy beeing in my tank... they stick together in a little group and are eating shrimps and bloodworms lige there´s no tomorrow... they are swimming around in the whole tank and seems to be quite curious when you approach them....

Hmmm.... I guess I just have to get rid of them in some way... the sooner the better.. as I understand these guys grows like weed.... and soon there´s only room for one of them in the tank...

cheers,
Peter

Channarox: Yeah they're quite cool... and little for now... but that will soon change - I can almost see them grow day by day...

Anyone know the approx. max size for the Ch. Marulius when kept in a tank? And how fast do they reach full size??

regards,
Peter
