lol no not a gold ram either.....if it's a ram it's no kind I've ever seen before. They were sold to me under the same species name of Geophagus Brasiliensis.....I've had those rams before too...gold and german blues....it's not those.

bottomfeeder i dont think its a ramirez, maybe you think it is because they are practically a smaller version of geos and gymnogeos.... i think its a type of geo or gymnogeos....... not sure which type though

could be a hybrid of some sort. Regardless I think we can say with certainty that they are south american cichlids, so water conditions, tankmates etc. should all be the same as other SA cichlids. Wait til he settles in and colors up a bit.
