last saturday i bought

this fish which i know is a parrot, the result is this
eggsll1.jpg

which look to me like fertilized eggs!!!! as we all know parrots are meant to be infertile so i am now doubting if the bigger fish is a parrot. its face i certaintly not as puffed up as most parrots and everywhere i read says parrots cant open their mouths, well this one can
mouthopenwidebv8.jpg

please can somebody help me, am now thinking it may be a red devil or midas??
what do you guys think.

sorry for such a big 1st post

I think there have been several threads on the alleged infertility of blood parrots...I think they can actually reproduce. That really looks like a parrot, too.

~ it's no a red devil or a midas.... it's a parrot just the same, or could be a hybrid of a parrot and something else, but even if it is a parrot, parrots are only unfertyle wen small... as big adults there have been many cases of success ;)

´
and i can see they look fertyle, but in my experience there 99% chance they whount hatch;)

cheers.
i have had that fish for 6-7 years and only started to doubt when i came home last night to find eggs. have always thought it was a parrot just looked a little different because they are hybrids. any tips on what i could do to give me the tinest chance of any hatching??

I'm thinking a Parrot cichlid. No not that. I can't think of the name.
