But look at them and him and see if this could be the one you have. Also check this link out and see if you may have this one too http://forums.*****************.org/showthread.php?t=2624 this is a Hybrid that is found all over the place in LFS. They have red or blue body tints and if you google the Sunset Peacock Chiclid you can find more about them.

You did red that in the link you just posted it say that it is not a real name and is not recognized. Fake scientific names are worse than trade names. They create a lot of issues for the hobby and hobbyists.

No where does it say that, A. Hansbaenschi is indeed a real specie and no its not a "fake scientific name". Google it up, you will soon find out your wrong

Based on the way the fish were sold, I would guess a hybrid, and the breeder just wanted rid of them.

I'm not a hybrid hater, I think some of them are spectacular, thus, I have quite a few, most of them taken in by me before they were destroyed.
