isn't that the same "whitei" chinese perch that Wes at Rare Fish is selling??

That's a Coreoperca Whiteheadi. A relative of the siniperca chuatsi, but much more delicate. Also much more territorial than the chuatsi. Little is known about this species.

Oh yeah. It will eat any small fish in your tank that will fit in its mouth, just like the chuatsi.

no not from wes i bought him from tfd i jumped in on a order that rallysman and jd_man put in
it was listed as a chuatsi but when rallysman saw it he that it might be something else

actually I think it was listed as a siniperca "flower perch" and I thought it was a chuatsi...then I second guessed myself. I dont know what they look like when they are so small but it does look like a miniture version of mine.

He acts exactly like rallysman's perch. Whatever he is, he is a bad ass fish. It was awesome to see him eat 6 guppies in no time.

You going to make me get another big tank so I can keep a couple of these.
