I resued this guy from the sink bottom at work. He had been in there for an hour, with no water. What is it?

Thanks shulace, you are right. It's a sweet fish. He has some mechanism by which he can stick to the glass. Now I know what to feed it.

All gobies have the ability to stick to glass thanks to a set of fused pelvic fins.

You may also be interested to know that the goby family (Gobiidae, go figure) is one of the largest families of fishes. Over 2,000 species. Some of the smallest vertebrates known to man are gobies.
