HELP!!!Identify wether this is an RTG arowana

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it does come with cert....but without microchip scanner.Im very sad and disappointed

It could be a RTG , it is only very young it takes time for there color to come, I have seen other baby RTG on the net that look like yours.
It should of come with a certificate & chip stating what type of fish it is. If it has a HUGE tank & plenty of good grub & a tanning lamp it will start to look the part :)

Time will tell, and you will soon realize its the fish you not care for are the ones that end up with the most sentimental value, at least in my case haha

Finallly a comment that makes regain my faith....But its tail fin is red,so do green at young stage have slightly red tail fins?

Bro, Cert can be fake.
Indo Green does not have red tail and fin (just plain white in juvenile).
RTG tail and fin sure red but the upper part of its tail is darker red, i see your dont have.
Hmm.. More likely a banjar red..

But as what strawwoodclaw said fish is still young and it takes time to reveal truth colour.
All of us here have no idea what this fish will become.. so faster pump it up.

So the red tail fin rules out it being a green arowana.
