So I took a trip down to the pier in Bay St Louis, MS this morning and ended up tying into a shark. Now I'm just trying to figure out what species it is. Sorry that the pics are kind of crappy, but my buddy isn't the best photographer in the world. Any ideas?

Looks like a juvie blacktip reef shark. Has the right fin shape and head.

It does resemble a blacktip reef shark, but I don't believe that they're indigenous to Mississippi coastal waters.

i am interested in the shark whats the size of the beasy

its not a black tip. They dont live there, Plus black tips have more of a tan colored body. and it has no black tips.. :)

that one is grey.

I aggree it looks like a young Bull Shark

I didn't measure him... just snapped a quick pic, unhooked him and let him swim off. I'd guess he was ~30" or so.
