help IDing 2 snakeheads

hi everyone...

i am new to snakeheads and i have been trying to read up all i can about them...

i have recently purchased 2 snakeheads and i need help Iding them....
they r in a 60 gallon tank as of now....

Well the first one could be Channa spec Kerala or 5 banded snakehead!

The second one is a Channa gachua!!

someone told me that the second one is a stratia but i am not so sure.... i would be glad if he was a gachua

I do not think it is a striata!
The body shape is too different!

I will post a picture of a gachua caught around Calcutta area!

So you have something to look at!

No, I do not hink so!

Because in the picture you can see a red band in tip of the dorsal fin and also in the caudal fin!

Channa stewartii and Channa striata do not have this red band!

the stripes of striata are mor on the belly than on the back, arent they
