Help in estimating age of baby Arapaima

I wish I had the space for an araipiama, but who doesn't wish that?

Who really has the space, besides a select few...

7" arapaima would be about an hour old wouldn't it? lol

arapaimas very on growth, but usually average 2-3" per month. so i would say that paima is no more then 3-4 months old.

within 6 months expect over a foot

and 12 months expect over 2 ft
