Whats up MFK,
I need some help I have a 90 gallon tank, In there I have some loaches, and a 9 inch silver aro, I recently added a 6 inch Jardini, they were getting along good for a little while, but when I woke up today the Jardini was all beat up, ripped fins and lost scales from the silver so I took the silver out and put him into my 125 and left the Jar alone in the 90 with all the loaches, He is swimming weak so I turned off the power head, I added in some stress coat and he isnt dead yet, but not eating and swimming weak. Please if anyone can give me advice on what more I can do to help it would be much appreciated thanks

Tons of air and keep the flow up, if it's still struggling the only other advise(non treatment wise) would be to blow the powerhead through the gills.

I'm no expert with meds, if it's just scale and fin damage melafix/primafix are always a good save/or kill option. Not saying you want to kill it but IME these meds either work or finish the fish off.

Yah thanks man, I turned the power head on, and it just blew him away, so I turned it back off, and Melafix can kill it? what about the stress coat? He seems to be doing okay right now, I mean not great, but he is swimming, much better then him sitting at the bottom of the tank. Thanks for advice, ill keep posted

yeah i leave powerhead off just make sure bubble are still going. hope everything works out

keep the water clean is a must. 82 deg, light off, a little salt, lots of air. if no one picks on it then within 1-2 weeks you don't even know it was injured.
