help! is my fish dying?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
In hawaii, im not sure if they test for free. or test at all for that matter.
But ill just keep him in the other tank with a lot of aeration. I'll update you in the morning. thanks so much for your help !

No problem, I just hope he makes it. Good Luck and yes update in the morning. I will look on the net to see if I can comes up with anything else but water parameters are important. You can buy a test kit for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, it's very important.

So i woke up this morning, and he is back on the bottom of the tank and upright. But
when i moved the airstone around, he just stayed there. He would usually swim away in a hurry. being back on the bottom, he looks better! but there is still something wrong with him :(

i will buy a ammonia test kit today and post the results.
Thanks!

you can also use Prime to temporarily "detoxify" the ammonia in the tank, make things more comfortable . . . also helps if nitrites/nitrates are high . . .

Yes, I would get a liquid ammonia test kit. You should also test yourt nitrate levels out of your tap water, Let it sit overnight before testing it.

Im so sorry, sorry I couldn't help you more. It so hard to treat them when they are that sick. Once they get that sick they go downhill really fast.

Sorry!
