HELP!!! IS MY JEWEL CICHLID BLOATED OR FILLED WITH EGGS?

hELLO,

i HAVE ONE JEWEL CICHLID THAT IS HUGE? I WANTED AS MANY RESPONSES AS i CAN GET ABOUT THIS FISH. SHE IS VERY BIG, BUT SHE STILL EATS, BUT NOT MUCH. i WANTED TO KNOW IF THIS FISH IS BLOATED, OR IS SHE ABOUT TO LAY ABOUT 300 EGGS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. FIRST PIC IS HER
SECOND PIC IS OF ANOTHER ONE THE SAME AGE AS HER!!

i have read that if it has bloat, they would be laying on the bottom, not eating, and strugling to swim. is this true?
it doesnt look like it is in the pics.

No. she eats some, and she swims fine.
 
I lost more than half of my colony of hap ruby greens to bloat. They were swelled up around the stomach area and were swimming fine for the 1st few days. They started breathing hard and went up for air. I used Jungle Labs Parasite Clear for me and it worked. I managed to save only one though. :(

Hello guys,

thanks for your help though. She just passed away a few minutes ago. It is like it happened instantly. It is so wierd. This is the only jewel i have lost out of the 300 that were raised with her. thank you all.

that sucks cause i have a texas that is bloated to how do i cure it cause its been like that for a quick minute already and it scares me need info quick

I wish I could help you. I do not know nothing about bloat at all. Good luck. Try looking up some info. on the internet. Maybe put up a post asking what to do for bloat.
