kind of done defending myself with the size of the tank, so instead of a striper do you think pbass would work?

Yes the tank doesn't look big. But it's 260 gallon. He had it custom made. He would know.

Peacock bass are really pretty and stay relativly small in aquariums compared to the wild. They are definately a large show fish when they get big and I think if you get the 600 gallon you should be fine

I found a local that sells them their med. size which is right around 6 inchs for 2 for 20, my tank will be ready and paid for by the end of the month, im looking at it cycled and possibly stocked by mid may. And when its ready i will be out the lake for some catfish, ultimately i always wanted stripers, pbass, largemouth in a tank, but now but i guess ill just go pbass and largemouth, and some type of cat, but overall thank you for all the imput

Don't do this combo, pbass will need warmer water (86 is a good reccomendation) and will grow faster and out compete the other two species you want.

i dont have much knowledge but i think pbass and largemouth wont last.......how about keeping largemouth with a channel in the 600?

I would agree, it's best not to mix natives with temperates. However, you could use your existing tank for some crappie and a bullhead or two, maybe a couple of the other medium sized centrarchids, and use the 600 for some pbass and a shovelnose cat. Just throwing out some options....

Where exactly did you catch that?? I've been looking for some good spots here in Vegas. Also looking for two 4-6" Peacock Bass to purchase.. Thank you.
