I have a planted tank with shrimp in it. Well I ordered some plants and they came with snail eggs... Now my tank is filled with snails killing my plants. But i have shrimp in the tank. I want to kill the snails but not hurt my shrimp. How do i do this??
It is hard to catch all the shrimp (babies are small)
So any ideas would be grateful.

I might be able to take out most of the shrimp if I have to and put them in a holding tank...

Thank you!! I was scooping them out and feeding them to my larger fish but I got rid of my aggressive fish and now i just have frontosa so nothing to feed the the snails too.

again thank you!!

I don't believe they'll eat shrimp BUT I can't say with 100% certainty.

Try tossing in some veggies, then just scoop them up when the snails congregate, this will get you numbers down a bit. Then throw in some assassin snails. Its not foolproof, I dont know of a way that is, but it cant hurt.

The best way to remove snails is to reduce feeding in the tank to control the population...

Since if assassin snails breed then you really will have a problem if that gets out of control...

You can also try adding some blanced veggies into the tank and manually remove any snails attached to said veggie every few hours...
