HELP!!! L190 emergency

Hi all,

I got 2 Royals in my 2 feet tank. 5" and 6"

The 5" lost the fight all the time... the skin seems to be badly bitten. It is not bleeding but it lost the lines and skin.

Is there a way to heal it?

I moved the bigger one out already.

Please help!!!

Add aquarium salt to the water to help it heal itself. Keep the water changed too. This is the simplest way to do it.

Why did you put 2 large royals in a small tank in the first place would be my question.

Thanks guys. Cos the tank looked big enough for 2. Only recently they fought. Previous few weeks was quite peaceful.

thats a tiny tank for such large fish. that's why they fight.

I agree, too small of a tank...they were most likely fighting over territories

I agree with separating, adding salt, and extra clean water. Hope all goes well

Upgrade your tank to a much larger one. This will prevent, or hopefully will prevent future confrontations between the two fish. I do believe the L190s are aggressive towards each other.
