OK - I'm continuing to paint over the wrinkles, trying to jam as much rubber into the ends as I can. We'll see how well that works soon enough...
 
As far as the bubbles go, if you were dealing with an epoxy and a large tank where teh pressure of the water could crush the pocket created by the bubble I would be concerned about a leak. We are taalking about a sump and LR in this case. LR wil flex 850%, I think that will cover you. In a sump, you are not looking at the pressure you are dealing with in a full blown tank.
 
Thanks for that. The water will only be 300mm deep. I need to improve my rubberizing technique for my first plywood tank though...
