Some times you guys kill me with what you say? Some of your fish come from the amazon but you or someone eles has decided somewhere along the way that some tank what ever the size is good enough for them but come on we cant reproduce the amazon river can we?
We do the best we can to keep our fish what we precive as happy. So i say give it a shot just filtrate filtrate as much as you can. You can never over filtrate only over stimulate, keep the current down as to not stress your fish but clean it as much as you can and do lots of water changes. Good luck
Lets just say the water is perfect... WHO CARES! The fish wont be able to turn around in that tank if it grows another inch or two. A 55 gallon is only 12 inches wide. Its already as long as the tank is wide.
