Help!!! Lump on Cichlid

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its hard to tell from those pictures, but it looks to be lymphocystis.

Does it look cauliflower-ish?

Lymph is usually brought on by stress. Is he fighting with tankmates? Or is there someone in the tank harassing him 24/7?

Heres a link to all the threads on MFK related to lymph with a bunch of opinions/ views on what should be done.

For starters, get him in a stress free environment (it could be parameters of the tank as well as tankmates, so mkae sure nitrates/nitrites/ammonia are all fine if you havent.)

Good Luck!
