Yep get as many bichir as you can buy and make sure your filter can hold the bio-load and also make sure they can have plenty of space.

I would suggest any of the lower jaw species such as
Polypterus Ansorgii
Polypterus Endlicheri Endlicheri
Polypterus Bichir Lapradei
Polpterus Endlicheri Congincus
Polypterus Bichir Bichir (if you have the money)

and some upper jaw species large enough to fend for themselves
Polypterus Ornatipinnis
Polypterus Weeksii
Polypterus delhezi.

I also suggest you use some pvc pipes for hiding places for the bichirs from the attacks of the Jardini
