My L014 is not shy but not active. He hides almost all the time but is in a hiding spot where all it does is block the light from hitting him so i can see him. About once every month he is on the glass in the light. I can see my L600 about half the time but he comes out the open about once a week. It is very hard to know a pleco will hide because sometimes i don't see a pleco for months then all the sudden it is out almost every day.
As much as I want to get raw shrimp because I know he'd love it, for the last year I've just fed him a mixture of what I feed my cichlids, being a combination of various NLS sinking pellets. Twice a week I put in something like a half of eggplant, 2 zucchini, squash, bell peppers. etc Eggplant is nasty to clean out but jesus, you'd be amazed how much gets downed in one night. I do eggplant once a month because of how nasty it is to clean.
My l200 doesnt touch veggies he pretty much eats what I feed my cichlids to... (nls/algaemax/omegeone kelp pellets/frozen shrimps/shrimp pellets)
Im kindnof stuck between l600 l273 l75 geez I was never into plecos but now there are too many to choose !

Here's my 273 jaws. First pic is when I got him at around 3 or 4inch over a year ago. acrylic a bit dirty...Haven't had L75 in a few years. Sold my group of 6 adults, regrets! Deleted their pics
Wow beautiful. ...you think he would play nice with an l200 ? 150 gal also have a spotted raph in there with some mild cichlids
