I didn't even know then! Just been sort of mulling over my stocklist and it just feels like somethings missing. Since I can't get a cuban gar (someday) I am seriously leaning towards a couple of cichla.

Also juggling the idea of a couple more stingrays, but I'd rather get something I feel comfortable tossing into the new tank. So right now cichla > rays, I just need to find some nice sized ones...

orinos are definitely the more aggressive out of the 3.....monos are the least aggressive IMO

In my experience, orinos are the pitbulls of the cichla world. Don't confuse a voracious appetite with aggression (such is the case with monos, azuls, and intermedia).

orino, if you can find DM quality ones...

kelberi, if you can get bahia/stones aq quality ones

imo no to the rest.

also, i would limit the cichla to 2 or 3. too many and they get really biosterious - not good for the gars.

I'd say go with an orino and a brokopondo. those look pretty cool imo.
