LOL. Okay, thanks for the advice everyone.

I'm already making filter, decor and lighting plans.

Vinegar is acidic. Baking soda will raise alkalinity. So by adding the two you are acheiving a nuetral pH which is not effective for cleaning. Best to use one or the other.



Need to be careful with "jet stream" , it could damage the silicone seal by seperating it from the glass.

I just use a regular garden hose with a simple nozzle set on jet no high pressure i have hosed off many tanks of all sizes with no problems all this vinager and baking soda is just way overkill imo i don't get why u let a ten sit dirty for a long time letting all the crud dry on it when u are done with a tank drain clean leave it sit empty til next fish setup.

Ok, I've recleaned it with baking powder and not it has hard water stains on it... lol

A 10G should only take like 20 mins to fully clean out.
