Yah I kinda thought so also, becuase I have a d chromis compressiceps and it def. doesnt look like that.

I'm more prone to belive it is a Labeotropheus trewavasae but if you look at the mouth in the 4th picture it is wrong to be a Labeotropheus trewavasae.

these are a couple more pics..... compare the mouth.

the fourth pic looks like a compressiceps hybrid maybe crossed with an ob of some sort

it's defenately a compressiceps. but no hybrid. however, it IS an o.b. morph.

i already clarified that i just wanted to throw in a photo of him. nothing to do with the first three photos.

GEEZE.

:duh: :duh: :duh: :duh: :duh: :duh:

the fourth picture is of the compressiceps.
not the labeotropheus.

it's actually labeled dimidiochromis compreccieps o.b.

That makes more sense I just wanst sure I knew there is no way its a reg. d.chromis cuse I have one and its silver with a brown stripe O___o At least its all clerified, looks intresting..

There is no such thing as a "purebred" D. comp. OB D. comps are hybrids just like OB Azureus, OB fryreri and OB peacocks.

The Labeo is fuelleborni, not trewavasae. Labeo. trewavasae are longer leaner fish.
Not necessarily an OB katale var. just a simple OB.

I agree that the OB compressiceps is a hybrid. It looks like a cross with a aulonocara from the head shape and the colration in the fins.

These is no such thing as a OB compressiceps.

Sad to see such a cool fish altered this way.....
