Help me find the right look

I like the natural look, you see my log, plants, etc. I showed the different pix of colors. So I am curious to those who posted no choice and voted for "natural". I'm trying to ask about colors here, black sand, white sand, natural rocks like one of the pictures I posted.

So I'm asking what is "natural" looking to you? Budda is my only ornament. So choices are colors for sustrate and colors for background. Did that make any sense?

The log is always there, as are the plants. The gravel pic camoflauges my little bottom dwellers. I might try a different "natural" gravel shade. There is also natural sand, vs black or white. I'm going for the most photogenic look.

Cool notice on the net behind the tank. I never thought of using just the net for a background, that's just the bottom of a piece of "real" used net, it goes clear to my ceiling. Above the tank in the net I have all real nautical artifacts, glass floats (Japanese fishing balls), old wooden floats, a large salmon cut out of steel is the center of the net above the tank, and some different used fishing buoys.

Lovin' the feedback, keep it coming please, this is really interesting to hear a) your picture pick and b)other feedback or ideas!

  :feedback:

I like 1 and 3...natural is what I ended up with after past trials......I got pot pix in my background in my 55 gallon.Check it out...no one ever notices...LOL:ROFL: I got some pix of my fish tank at a couple stores here in hawaii...they liked the fung shei design...but never notice the herb, just looks like regular plants...which they actually are!:headbang2

I pick 3 it seems more natural and has the most open space, I hear that its not really "cool" to some people to put buddhas and stuff inside your tank because they are indeed religous symbols?? Just something I have overheard, I don't think I have ever seen a crucifix or other symbols in a tank before ? I am not making a fuss about it, I was just thinking out loud. The aro looks nice!
