He's skinny. He's eating and getting longer, but he's wasting away. I'm thinking internal parasites. Is there anything in particular I should use? Is there any way to use it without putting him in his own tank (He's 20", it would be tough)?

he's in a 265 and is never bullied, ammonia 0 nitrite 0 and nitrates are a constant 15ppm due to the drip system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

here is a picture for reference.

Try some antiparasite food. Stuff the pellets in some silversides.

It's going to be hard and expensive if you plan on treating him in the 265. Try to put him in a smaller tank and treat him. I mentioned before, I have had great success with Jungle brand parsite clear. It works great and is not hard on the fish. Each box treats 80 gallons and is around 5.99 a box. So if you plan on treating the 265- do the math. Good luck. Hope he turns around.

Think he'd be ok in a 110? (48x18x30)

wow that rough bro...that's an awsome beast, wish him the best give us updates on how he's doin....

Is he skittish? if he isn't he should be fine in there for the duration of the treatment.

If he's skittish, might need soething bigger(wider) so he doesn't damage himself too much.

Good luck mate, beautiful fish!

Levi, I would put him in that 110 and start treating him asap. You dont have much else of a choice. The longer you wait, the harder it will be for him to come back around. I too have used Jungle Parasite Clear with success, as long as you catch it soon enough. GL with this guy Levi.

He's getting better. I found some liquid anit parasitic food and I've been injecting it and garlic into his normal food. He's starting to fill out again.

Garlic extract is gold for us MFK's. Something allways makes us remember that, again and again...

Good luck. the perch seems to be beter, comparing pixs!

Glad to here he's getting better. Love that fish!
