Help me help my Chinese Perch

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I hope in another week he'll look normal again. He's gaining weight back quickly.

I've read something about garlic a while back; but what is it exactly for I cant remember. What is the benefit of this???

from what I was told the parasites can't process garlic and they starve.

garlic extract also induces fish to eat.

looking good levi - keep us updated!!!

It has to be freshly pressed garlic though. Processed ones arent too effective ive read. I hope you nurse your chuatsi back to health Levi.

So if you were trying to wean fishes from live feeders it would help if you would rub the prepared foods such as frozen market shrimp in freshly pressed garlic extract???

so do you actually feed them the garlic or do you just take the juices from it and put it on the food you are already feeding?? Sorry I am n00b when it comes to the super fancy feeding techniques :(

p.s. Didn't mean to hijack Levi. Good luck with the perch. Maybe next you can attempt to get him to move from his corner when he is all beefed up:ROFL:

as a stimulant perhaps , but to use garlic as to ward off parasites, it has to be fresh garlic.

ammerman19 - you take the extract ( juice ) from the cloves and you mix the food ( or soak ) with it.
