I wouldn't recommend the belly pattern as a reliable indicator for differentiating between these two species. If you remove colour (which will give you an idea) their patterns are quite variable and overlap with each other.
Between Panaque nigrolineatus (L190) and Panaque cf. armbrusteri 'xingu' (L027 xingu) the most reliable way to differentiate them is their mouth and teeth layout. Panaque nigrolineatus have a tighter V shape teeth layout and 7-9 per jaw, Panaque cf. armbrusteri 'xingu' have a wider V shape teeth layout and many more teeth per jaw (which becomes more apparent with larger sizes).
