Help me Id this pbass please?

You may be correct. It really is just a guessing game.
I see new posts on here and Facebook of many hybridized cichla id posts and all are out of Indonesia hard to be certain unless the op can verify a collection point and be certain it’s wild caught. Rio jaguaripe Rio tapajos Bahia

Good point.

Some angler shots off the internet I believe all were labeled as pinima collection point makes a difference in appearance as with all bass some were labeled where caught

Look in each one of the pics... in none of them do the ocellated blotches all line up horizontally, the first one is on the lateral line and the other two are above it. Don’t like to argue but I’ve had 10 Pinima in the last 2 years

Don’t like to argue either and I really don’t give crap about being right or wrong not trying to be rude please don’t take it wrong, I don’t know 100% if it’s not a wc pinima or farmie pinima or hybrid and frankly neither does anyone here except the person who brought this fish in or bred the fish. But we all have opinions on the what we see I still think it’s a pinima.

On a side note these larger growing bass Tems, pinima @22-28” mark considered adult size? I still believe they are juvenile at this stage am I incorrect for thinking this?

yea your taking it personal as if only pinima can look 1 way and cannot vary at all. I still believe it to be pinima. Not all fish look the exact same.
