second pic is aptasia kill it..
the first pic is too blurry..

My theory is ,
"IF you didn't put it in the tank, KILL IT!!

I think this is a good thing to do if your new to the hobby and don't really know all your corals. I know my simple aptasia and others but if you where to post a picture i am not that educated. I did what you said in my predator tank, i killed a lot of hitch hikers, found out they where all anemones. If you have a big reef and are a walking book like kevin or mr.reef24 or yourself its much easier to tell what you have and what your working with. I think its great we have you coral nerds here so we can really find out what magically pops up in our tanks:headbang2 lol

:)I thank everybody for their help with this, I tried sticking the critter with a syringe and it ducks back in to its hole. Any other ideas.

make a paste out of kalkwisser, as thick as you can. then just squirt a bead of it onto its hole with a pipette or baster or what ever (syringe mite work without the needle as it will probably be to thick for it to go through the needle) so it just sits on top of him, that should theoreticaly kill it without harming your tank.

Everything I have read about them says they only eat apista. But if you only have a 1 or 2 Berghia are overkill, they should only be used when you have plauge level of apista as they will soon die after all the apista are gone. If you get berghia just keep an eye on where they go, if you see them chilling on your BT then you should kick them off, and move your nem to a place they cant get, such as sump or even worst case into a bag at the top of the tank with small holes for waterflow haha.

but with berghia u can lend them to friends and keep them alive by cycling them through ur reef club or friends with aiptasia issue's and kill a few birds with one stone

mr.reef24

what type of tank do you have reef or fowler? and what is it on or in in the tank i may have a few tricks to get rid of the anem if i can find out these two things.
