I find this Geo to be a very interesting species.
They are mouth brooders, and if kept in a harem, 1 male to about half dozen females , he does a very entertaining almost comical courtship ritual routine.
They also color up more and more as they age.
The males get quite large, so a large tank is needed when keeping a group, I found my 125 gal a bit small, because if a female wasn't a receptive, and another wasn't there to take her place, he tended to beat her to death.
