help me identify this peacock bass please

NONONONONO its not an orino, to thin, orinos are deeper bodied. orinos are usually darker with 3 single spots on the sides outlined in gold. the head is elongated, orinos have stouter heads with less protruding lower jaw.
 
I agree with you on the spots. I think the fish pictured is a 10-11 inch fish. It hasn't fully developed the mature spots yet. Its a tough one.... My orino has the body type of a tem, and skinner.. but I know they will get a more stout body shape at a mature age. The jaw thing is a good catch... I now am second guessing myself.

I'm gonna get some more people in on this and see what they say...
 
C. ocellaris are actually the most commonly found pbass in the hobby.

And that statement, my friend, would make you 100% wrong. Cichla monoculus are, by far, the MOST common Cichla found in the hobby.
