while I wont deny that tank looks great, its not so much due to fantastic aquascaping skills as no lack of $$$ whatsover.

WELL AS FOR THE AQUASCAPING IT WAS NOT THAT HARD TO PLACE THE ROCKS TO LOOK LIKE THIS IT TAKES NO SKILL TO DO THAT JUST HAVE AN EYE FOR IT

AND FOR THE LACK OF MONEY IT DIDNT COST MUCH AT ALL WHEN YOU GET **** AT COST CAUSE ILL TELL YA IM ONE BROKE BASTARD .

I didnt mean to offend.
I was simply stating that,as you mentioned, its not hard to stack the rocks so that they look pretty good. What makes your tank IMO is

1)the number of fish

2)the type of rock used

3)The size of the tank

The point I was trying to make is that as proud of my tank as I am it looks like a poor mockery of your own,and its not due to lack of aquascaping skills but lack of $$.You mention being broke but I suppose we all have varied definitions of "broke".

I couldnt afford to make my tank look stocked as densly as yours, and I only have a 60 gallon tank. Also I see a few really nice fish in there and the rest are not anything you would find in a "mixed african tank" by a long shot,if you know what I mean....($ :naughty: $ )

I also will note that I wish I could afford to fill my tank with lace rock or whatever but free lava rock fit my budget much better by far.:(

Last but not least Im not sure if you said what size tank that is but it looks pretty big, maybe 100+ gallons?I wish I could afford one, maybe this summer. :( :(

I just think that the title was a bit misleading because the poster was saying "help me make my tank look like this!!!" and I guess I was just trying to say "okay give me some big $$$ and I can make your tank look like that absolutley no problem" (Ive put about $500+ into my 60 gallon rift tank alone)

again not trying to offend just clarifying what I meant. ;)

lace rock and as for placement get your self some egg crate (thew stuff they use in drop celings) and put it in the bottom of the tank befor you add the sand and rock you may have to play around for a while to you get makeing sure everything is tightly in place and secure

what i also did was add some crushed corol to the sand

not offened just letting you know it didnt cost me much see i used to work for this guy who supplied most of all the local fish stores on east coast so i got stuff he sold close to nothing or at cost and as for the fish all the stores i deliverd to hooked me up on the fish cause if it wasnt for me they would get there stuff on time hahahahahahaha

so i got some what of a hook up :headbang2

that tank is a 90 as soon as i get rid of the fish in my 180 everything in the 90 is going in the 180 plus some
