WESTMINSTER!! California
My FH is acting alittle weird this morning... its just in the corner laying on the gravel.... idk whats wrong... is this normal?

Last night it was perfectly fine... and I believe it ate the last feeder fish (only once in a while treat) that was in there...

So far I added more water into my tank and feed my FH... I feed it about two fat pinches of pellets and a pinch of freeze dried blood worms....

But it spit some pellets out and I was shocked cause my FH never did that before.... Can someone please help me out?!
Please & Thank You... - Jimmy.

sounds like you might have a problem with your parameters. I would do 50% water changes every 3-4 days and buy a testing kit to see where you are at. Then when you know what exactly is going on, it will be a lot easier to fix than just guessing.

does water parameters really make that much of a differences?

What does it tell you?

i see... can you post a pic of your FH please :)

also your into racing? cause I noticed the " jdm " in your user...

How much would the water parameters cost in Southern California? And is there different kinds of kits for checking the water parameters? if so, what kind should I get?

You can either get a kit that test for everything, or that test for each individual parameter. Also there are two different kinds of ways for testing. The dipstick test, or the chemical test. IMO the chemical is more exact, but I just use the dipsticks because I have had my tank at the same levels for quite a while. You can go to any pet store and pick these up.
