Help me out with this please..flowerhorn face turned black.

My flowerhorn was alright when I got him . He was fine for 2 weeks nd his face turned black 4 days ago I see that his face turned black from one side.
He's active and eats normally but why has his face turned black. ?
Tank size: 36*18*18
Heater: 150w at 28°C

Well that’s odd. If his behavior is normal I wouldn’t worry just yet. It could be that he has the fader gene and he’s beginning to go through the fading process.

Typically when a fish does this, it's because he sustained some sort of brain injury/head trauma, and has some neurological damage. If you search through the other forums, you'll find other species of fish this has occurred to and see if any have recovered from this malady.
I haven't heard or seen of this before but its more likely this as I haven't seen a fish fade just like this before. Like I said it looks odd.
