Help me out with this please..flowerhorn face turned black.

A not so good update. He was lethargic from last 3 days. And he started swimming in circles. His stomach seems flat from two sides. What is it? Is it whirling disease or is it swim bladder issue? He was twitching and twirling and banging the stones in the tank. So I've got him in a small 10 gallon tank and have added Epsom salt. What else is to be done? Thanks.

Does it seem like he can't control his movement?I have seen fish start swimming weird because of brain damage from hitting the glass/lids. I don't have much experience with disease.I'm sure someone can help Magnus_Bane Man-made Monsters Ruturaj

Yesterday when I shifted him into qt he even turned upside down at some point. And was not able to control the movement. But today he is sitting still but when in approach the tank he gets excited and again starts his circular motion. And the thing that bugs me is that he only does the circular motion in left handed fashion .

Sounds like swimbladder to me,hope this helps.

sorry guys . we lost him . epsom salt , metro treatment, nothing helped him. i think it was something brain related cause the black patch and his not being able to control body movements suggested the same. anyways this is how it is .
