Today I was fishing and I stumbbled upon a bunch of peacock bass fry, so I was tempped, & I took about 30 or so, but the thing is thier still really, really young, like 3 days old their free swimming, but when I first found them they were bunched up, but what do I feed someing that small their REALLY TINY, not a 100% sure about brime shrimp, and how long does it that them to grow at least 1/2 a inch? Because this is going to be a hard one to figure out the menu for these guys.And how long can they go with out food?

so dont worry if they dont survive.
i'd feed them baby brine at the moment.
i believe they will only take live...
they grow pretty fast too.

i dont really understand why you would bother to take something that you have no idea how to take care of?

Baby Brine shrimp is your best chance, maybe your only chance to save them.
However, if you happen to have green water nearby, canals, standing water somewhere in the yard, use it.
After that, other possible ways of feeding them are spirulina powder, egg yolk, or baker's yeast. Good luck.....and next time be prepared.

If BBS doesn't work, go for infusoria. Thats what I feed my baby cichlids in their first week of life. Donot go for green water from a nearby pond as it may introduce pathogens. In the second and third week, I use BBS and from then, microworms and adult brine shrimp. From the sixth week, go for daphnia and hikari first bites or micropellets of any known brand.

btw,i think they arent even native to his country...
but yes,i agree with you he shouldnt have just plucked them out if he doesnt even know how to care for them.
but he already did....
