I got a pair of Regani at Thatfishplace in Lancaster Pa about three weeks ago....they are awesome! Growing quickly with really great behavior....they are still there and can be ordered at thatpetplace.com......good luck!

I also picked up a pair from there recently. I went on a road trip from Jersey. They told me they were wild caught from Columbia.
Mine are currently housed in a 30g, heavily wooded, and planted jungle tank. They are doing quite well. Very puppy like. The male is just over two inches long.
They also had one single male notophthalmus. I wanted him, but no more space, and I want to breed them.
I was successful breeding reganis a few years ago. I liked having them. I want to give them another shot.
Here they are;

I messed up the link, can't figure out how to edit previous post. I'll try again;

Mine actually just spawned Wednesday in a hole in a huge piece of driftwood....the female is staying in the hole and guarding, male is out front semi-protecting......pretty cool!

Nice! How big are they?
Mine are still pretty small.

Male is a littel over 3 inches, female just under three inches......she abandoned the eggs, typical I guess for first spawn.....good sign for the future though! BTW, I was at thatfishplace today, they have 2 pairs left if anyone is interested...

Pikes are awesome man, seriously. Very unique fish. I have 2 Crenicichla marmorata in my tank with 2 green sevs, a big royal knife, and a royal pleco. They're awesome. Yeah, they're "aggressive" but they don't go around killing everything either. Once they get really big....then it might not be very safe for others to be in there, lol. But they have a very unique "personality", and the way the swim and move around is pretty interesting to watch. They're very underrated fish.
