In the market for a new cell phone, I have the Droid Turbo right now and it's about 2.5 years old, had two iPhones before (4S and the 5). I want to stick with Android, mainly because the battery life on the iPhones quite frankly sucks compared to the comparable Android models.

I am thinking either the Galaxy S8/S8+, Note 8, or G6.
Any feedback on those phones?

Thanks,
Drew

After reading a few tests, I would not be totally opposed to an iPhone 8/8+ - but I'm going to need some convincing.

Have u looked at the HTC u11? I recently picked mine up and love it.

I was gonna get an s8 but due to them putting a stupid button on the side for their new bixby thing and not allowing u to reconfigure it I decided against it.

Looking to stay within one of those six models listed above, since they have been rated as having the best cameras on the market today. That and battery life are the main things I care about - although that would put the iPhone 8+ close to the top of the list.

I don't like the S8/plus thing with the fingerprint too much, I won't lie.

Right now, based off of specs alone, the Note is leading the pack. I am a little worried about the size, so we'll have to see on that one in person. If the Note was out for whatever reason, the S8+ would be next up, followed closely by the S8. Farther behind would be the G6, then even further would be the iPhone 8+. The 8 is not even under consideration anymore.

Thanks,
Drew

If you are looking for Android and have a bigger budget, there is no looking past HTC. Easily best phones on the market IMO.

Definitely. The finger print scanner is in a great place and works near perfectly and squeezeing the phone to open the camera is insanely useful... But if u really wanna go cheapest and best bang for ur buck for oneplus 5? I think it is.. Amazing specs and $500 I believe

I have a Droid Turbo also. I would hate to give up the 21 mp camera. If my phone fails before something better comes along, I will probably get a refurbished Droid Turbo or maybe get a Sony with 24 mp camera. They say that pixels aren't important, but they are important to me. I like to get stills off of videos. This is from a video at sun set, with minimal day light left.

No way can I give up my camera...unless there is a better one. 1080 p videos are the only way to go if you want to get stills from them. When I look at my videos taken before I got the Droid Turbo, they seem like a pile of junk.
