Im looking for either a pair or small group. Nothing too large either. What about satanoperca daemon? I dont know too much about them. Would they work? If i had a 200+ gallon id love to have geophagus altifrons. My buddys dad has a few in his 220 and they are gorgeous.

I actually just set up a 75 gallon for my group of 4 geo red head tapajos. Four of them will be fine in a 75. My guys are still juvies and are sharing the tank with a quartet of Guianacara stergiosi, but they will eventually get the tank all to themselves.

Satanoperca get to be 8-10", but don't really need groups (many will recommend it, but they aren't found in loose congregations like many geos are). So you could get away with a pair of them.

Trust me, we all wish we had a 200+ gallon tank. LOL It would be a dream for many people here (myself included).
