obt are like $30 around here
I think they are worth it,but I see them usualy cheaper, try for a female.Another thing is they are one of the fastest growers, seems like they double in size every molt.I think they become cheap because they are good breeders and theirs just lots of them. The only reason man Im stirring you from the cobalt is because I truley want you to enjoy this experience,Im afraid it will make a huge hole and then never be seen.OBT can do that sometimes but you can dont make the substrate so deep and they will use more webbing as a hide, wich is cool to see in its self.Let me know how it goes.Or if you got any more questions just shoot.

lol Ive only had mine in plastic but Ive seen them on glass, its funny you ask because I see them on glass and sometimes they are sliding down slowely a bit.Yes though, they can climb glass.

Make sure you ask them if its the brighter orange type, some are dull. They should know what you mean.If you go this route.

no i was asking cause i have pink toes and rosehairs at my work and the pink toes will hang out on the glass while the rose hair cant climb it and yes im going for that spider and a bright orange female : )

how should i have it set up as far as heat i have a 10 gal and some eco earth cork wood and a water bowl i just need to know the best way to heat her up

Ive got a b smithi that can climb the side of the plastic tanks.I thought my rose hair could back in the day too,now I wonder if they could climb glass, hum.Funny you ask about the heat because here its good to go in the house so I never had to worry about it,but this is my first winter with them in this place and it gets much colder in here,so Ive just been running the heat alot more wich I need to cut back on.I planned on asking the guys on that other forum. At my old house the Ts were on the top shelf in a closed wich on the botom was the bearded cage and the heat lamps heat would rise up to theirs. So,right now Ive just been keeping the house warm for all my pets,of course the snakes and BTS got heated caging.I am going to go start a thread in the Tarantula site I linked and see what they recomend. For glass a heat pad or low wat light Im sure is good.More plastic tubs you could do heat rope if it was on a rack.On the OBT,the first thing they do after trying to bite is run UP.So always be ready for it to act like that Trinidad Chevron in the one link.

Use the cork wood upright or diagonal for climbing and webbing. If you make a cave you for certain will never see it again, lol.

like i said, african cave dwelling is the coolest
