the buld should say like 6500k 10000k ect

The Kelvin rating will appear somewhere on the lamp itself. For instance in my planted tank I have 4100 K lamps... These are not ideal but I do have 6500 K lamps on order. The wattage of my lamps are 54 watts. So my tank has 108 watts @ 4100 Kelvin, (which in the Electrical Industry is considered a "Cool White" lamp) in a 55 gallon tank.

I'm no expert but it would seem that you might need some more "cleaners" in your tank. When I started building my T5 fixture I knew that the 4100 K lamps wouldn't be very good light and would probably produce some algae so I bought 5 albino suckers, 2 Chinese suckers, and about 8 bamboo shrimp to help eat the extra algae.

At first all of my rocks were covered in green, and I was changing water every few days. Now I don't need to change water nearly as often and the plants are growing great. I don't have CO2 and am only adding liquid ferts...

How long have you had the tank set up with this fixture? Could it be that it needs to stabalize because it's a new set up? I'm no expert, maybe one of the others can shed some light on your problem!

your soil looks like flora base or something comparable...so thats good...

2 x 24" 52 watt @ 6700k also sounds good...are they both white bulbs or do you have one blue (actinic) bulb? if you have a blue bulb remove it ASAP as they are notorious for accelerating algae blooms and they don't offer any value to plants.

how are you adding your co2? Is it pressurized or home made? by the looks of what you started with and where you are now it seems like it's possibly not enough co2 but it's hard to tell from a distance.
