HELP ME PLZ...male or female rbp's...?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my friend has four rbp's that size and he has a book that sais that if your fish are constantly swimming beside each other(even while turning in circles), and tend to try to keep away all other fish away you probably have a breeding pair. That area would be considered their nesting site. This will be no help if you only have the 2 rbp's. Pleco's, electric blue lobster's, snails and other hard shell species are able to survive in your aquarium. :mwave:

I have also heard that it is hard to keep just 2 rbp's. I've heard that your best chances are with one or three or more. So if I were you I would try to get rid of one or try to introduce maybe one or two more. Which is also hard. So odds are in favor of getting rid of one.And this should be done before one of your rpb's get killed. And the triumphant piranha is so damaged you wont want him. :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip :rip

To add more this is the method several people have used successfully, remove all the fish into buckets for a couple hours, rearrange the tank while doing a partial water change, then add all the fish back in at one time.
